[IRCA] There really IS an Asia!!!

Between 0630-0715 PDT Friday 9/23/05, I noted the following:

1566 SK  HLAZ  Cheju with good audio 0630. Korean talker.  Stayed in
until nerly 0700..uh thats 1330-1400 for you UTC users.

  774 JAP JOUB  Akita with audio 0633 above the darned buzz I have on my
low end.  Man/Woman talking in JJ.  Pretty good signal to be able to
overcome that buzz.

1332 ????  Surprised to find actual audio (music) here at 0656 PDT.
This would have been a new one but it faded down (and out) soon after.

Lots of hets noted without audio, e.g.

 828 at 0635 thru the buzz
 891 at 0636 thru the buzz
1521 at 0642
1431 at 0650
1421.5 at 0651
1359 at 0654
1332 at 0656 followed by audio (briefly)
1242 at 0715

Also noted were:

1300 CA KPMO Mendocino with NPR news 0700 to 0705 while atop KAPL & KAZN
dodging KMKY-1310 slop.

1270 OR KAJO Grants Pass with Oregon news 0709 nicely atop KBZZ &
KJUG.........

Guess I'm going to have to get up at this hour more often the next 6
weeks..........oooooghhhhh!
