Re: [IRCA] IBOC DX'ing

Source? Probably Ibiquity, whose 'scientific and objective' computer models 'prove' half AM stations could go dark and not be missed. Obvious self-serving fanciful tales.

AM is doing quite well as even monopolycaters grudgingly admit. Strategy? Portray AM and FM as doomed without IBunco & claque's digital licensed system.  IBOC will eventually render all existing radios worthless. Unprecedented.

Their scripted arguments are those of clever dullards just bright enough to be dangerous. Forget what they say. Note what they dare not discuss: interference. This is no 'dark industry conspiracy'. Forget 'broadcasters out to screw the consumers'. That's vintage projective blather from IBOC shills vainly hoping to thwart legitimate discussion. Entire industry is hurt by stations who radiate harmful interference.

This is simple. It's not about a hobby. It's about a small cartel gaming the market by drowning competitors with HD noise jamming and silencing legitimate inquiry with insults and false claims. In time, market will send them on their way along with vendors of laxative & colonic cure-alls from another era. Digital covered wagons and all.
