IBOC will be a colossal failure (it already is). The focus should switch to improving receivers, not testing unproven technologies.
 
If people want digital radio, they should get satellite radio. Digital signals cannot be delivered effectively via terrestrial means.
 
If we want to see the DX hobby saved, GET POLITICALLY ACTIVE! Write your elected officials, and tell them not to give the FCC and the NAB what they want. If they keep supporting the FCC and NAB's illegal deregulatory policies, then it's your responsibility to vote your representatives out in November 2006. Examine their records on media deregulation. If one voted for the Telecommunications Act of 1996, or support further deregulation of the media, then don't vote for that candidate. It's that simple.
