It seems like KINF's downward slide has been gradual here in Phoenix over about a three or four-year period.
Before that, they were dominant at night much of the time. 
The signal started weakening about the time much of the nighttime talk programming was replaced by music, and the change seems gradual enough that I wonder if there's degradation in their antenna system. If it was a transmitter problem, I'd think it would be repaired more quickly, and they'd be back to normal.
When I moved here, KTNQ came in every so often. Now it's usually all I hear at night.
