The MW band will cease to exist. The FM band will cease to exist except for
extremely local stations if its still around.

All radio will be eventually delivered over satellite or terrestrially,
which satellite will NOT be the biggest portion of the delivery system

Music and information will be delivered over wireless hot spots attached to
cell towers and transmitted over something more modern than 802.11 . It will
have nothing to do with us getting old, there will simply be no need to DX.
There will be nothing to DX other than things coming in off the planet from
spaceships and colonies and that will be absolutely encrypted.

To DX one will have to be a computer expert with advanced decryption skills
in binary transmission schemes.

The only DX I see possible in about 50-75 years is maybe a few amateurs who
want to play with ancient modes of transmission. I would say DXing would be
like trying to DX a local cell phone tower at that time.
