Not really what you suggest, but possibly of some interest are a couple JPGs I've placed on the web showing IBOC on and off at WSBR 740, Boca Raton, FL, my local hiss engine. 
 
These are simple frequency scans captured with a RX-320D and "RX-320 Controller" software (by Clifton J. Turner, Jr.). 
 
Note that the URLs must be just as shown, upper/lower case as is.  Each image is ~75kB.

distribution of the modulation via a spectrum analyzer?
 
Would that even be helpful?
 
One could easily make actual frequency/strength determinations across
the received spectrum.
