I haven't decided whether to bring quite a few assorted radios or just those 
that are unusual, rare and/or DX performers. If you want to leave your SR I 
at home I have already decided to bring mine. I don't think I'd bring mine 
on a plane; they're too pricey to replace. The only reason I take my Sony 
ICF-2010 to Maui is its ability to zero beat an extremely weak carrier to 
extract audio. There are plenty of extremely weak stateside stations over 
there and the Superadios can't deal with them.
