Pat, 

The S350 is real squirrely for tuning when you first get it. The thing
drifts like a b@$+@rd, until the tuning mechanism sets. Once you have it for
a few months, its ok. There are strings and springs in the tuning mechanism.

You have a RF gain on it so you can adjust it to get rid of images and
there's an SW LPF switch. Leave it off on MW. Its a good radio for $100. It
isn't your R-1000 or R-8A but its good.

I'd say its a buy. Beats the snot out of the CCRadio.
