Art,

I remember well the SD 1972 convention. Bill Block and I were there. I
remember hiking over a hill to walk downdown and I got a nasty sunburn. 
  Anyone remember a DXer, Steve Simonson? I think he was from So Cal.
Steve was at the 1972 convention.
