Same here, Don.  That was back in the days when I could still hear KSL here
in N.E. MN.  Now 1160 sounds like a graveyard channel at night.  KSL is
still heard, but with much interference.

In 1980 there were only 3 stations on 1160 in the U.S.  KSL, WJJD Chicago
which operated until sunset in Salt Lake City and a Puerto Rican 250 watt
station.
