Patrick,
What type of programming? <smile> I suppose "QRP" is all relative, since
this guy seems to be in town somewhere. The reception is quite solid here
(at home). If it was legal, he'd have to be ID'ing wouldn't he, just like
every one else SHOULD be doing. Funny thought, because if the legit
stations are screwing around with the requirements........???Hmmm. By the
way, do you know what the FCC requirements for ID'ing are for broadcast
stations? What is it, something like within 10 minutes either side of the
ToH, nowdays---once an hour? I think of R. Disney when I say that.

Hi Doug,
I have an old signal generator that Bill Block gave me many years ago. I
used to hook it up while living in Astoria in the mid 70s with a 3 foot
wire and that ran probably 10mw or so, but yet it covered downtown
Astoria like a blanket. I operated on FM. So if the location in good the
coverage can be quite good. He may be legal, as you said you lose it
driving out of town.
