The FCC rules for DAYTIME-ONLY AM operation...they also apply to IBOC. Sunrise to sunset only. KFUO 850 has to shut off its IBOC operations at 4:30 p.m. in the month of December, and at 4:45 p.m. in the month of January. Keeping IBOC on after local sunset produces unacceptable interference to adjacent-channel broadcasters. I'm still planning to turn in KFUO for illegal after-hours IBOC operation. The FCC rules you and Bruce speak of only applies in an STA situation (KFUO has no Special Temporary Authorization to operate IBOC after hours).
