Don,
Before KABL-960 was placed in File 13, what would be an accurate
description of their format? Brain not working correctly, but what was the
station around 1500 kHz with their towers in the Bay -- weren't they
semi-classical at one time? Let' not forget the old KYA-1260.

The fellow that owns(ed) this station had stated he was bound &
determined to make a go of a classical music outlet on AM. Guess he ran
out of available spending cash for this unlikely project. Difficult to
see how he will benefit by going to rock oldies when we have a older
more established station in KFRC-610 that has made a successful venture
using this format. Well, good luck to them, I like rock oldies......
