Seward in South Central was cold enough in the Winter in the 60s, zero
to +10 and 70 MPH North winds. Blowing 4 feet of snow.  Barrow is even
worse. I get several TV stations on satellite from Anchorage and they
give the weather for Barrow. It is not a fun place to live. I have heard
the odor of the sewer system is rough too. At least it used to be. Even
though I love to DX, I would have to be paid plenty to live there
throughout the Winter.
