[IRCA] Clear Channel Stations

Greeting!

It is almost DX season once again, and I am getting fied up. I have had my 
receivers cleaned, and ready to go. I have read witgh delight all the DX 
Monitors getting ready for this season, and am beyond thankful for all the 
info!

I, for one, LIKE the Clear Channel radio stations!!! I have always enjoyed 
having the big power houses spaced across the dial a markers to let me know 
where I was on the dial. This before digital tuning. But I still like 
hearing those big stations.

This is especially true during Baseball Season! I like hearing Saint Louis 
Cardnials games called by the other team's broadcasters. KDKA in Pittsburgh, 
WGN in Chicago and WLW in Cincinnatti to name just three. It is interesting 
to see how fair, impartial or biased the other announcers are. It gives a 
decidedly different slant on the game.

So contrary to some fans who think Clear Channel stations are a giant 
consppiracy I still enjoy listening to clears since the mid 1950s! GREAT 
STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!
