[HCDX] NABA gets new President



NABA gets new President:

The North American Broadcasters Association (NABA) has elected a new 
President. He is Ray Carnovale, the Vice President and Chief Technology 
Officer for CBC/Radio-Canada.
He takes on the role from Peter Smith, Vice President, Advanced Technology, 
of NBC Universal, who was elected to serve as one of two vice presidents of 
NABA.
Mexican broadcast executive Leonardo Ramos, who is the Director of High 
Technology Projects for Televisa, was elected for another term as Vice 
President.
The NABA Board of Directors confirmed the new office bearers at their Board 
meeting on 4 April.
NABA is a non-profit union of influential broadcasting organisations 
throughout North America committed to advancing the interests of 
broadcasters at home and internationally.
NABA's members consist of public and private network broadcasters in the 
US, Mexico and Canada, who work together with their colleagues to provide a 
common voice for the North American broadcast community.
