[HCDX] Log of the only Latin that made to Mtl this evening

910 VENEZUELA, YVRQ, Maiqutia, DF SEP 30 2352 - apparent mention of "AM Center" followed by apparent ads, then mention of "llanura" heard twice with nice harp (llanera music) interludes. Fairly good but in jumble with WABI and others. Lost down to the domestic mess after about 2 minutes. (Chiochiu-QC)

Mazda Protégé's car-radio in Pierrefonds, QC

This was the only Latin audible this evening. 530 was all CIAO with Indian music. 1320 had 3 stations and the car-radio, so couldn't listen to CKEC. This is what happens when you cannot deal with co-channel QRM using a directional ferrite bar, loop or Beverage on a car-radio's omnidirectional whip. Fortunately Venezuela can break through 910 on a car-radio sometimes even during very non-Auroral conditions like tonight due to the fact there is nothing too strong on 910, but you still need a lot of patience since 910 isn't really clear, I think.

Maybe we'll be heading to Quebec City for the week-end starting tomorrow; it will certainly change my mind and ideas before 2nd cycle of chemio begin. Expect to hear at least 1 or 2 strong TAs on my Sanyo MCD-S830. Still waiting for some feedback about the Philips LW / MW transistor.

That's it for now !
I'm going try to listen a bit before heading to bed,
Be the good DX stuff with you !
