[HCDX] Comment from NP4FW
Good day to all at HCDX.
As well as been a Ham Radio Operator, I have been also a very devoted SWLer. I have my set of ham radios: Kenwood 570S, Icom 725 and a Swan 270.
I also have a very nice collection of radios for SWL including three portables a Panasonic, Silver and a Grundig YB 400
There has been a friendly "head banging" between me an local friends at the hobby tha claims "Why Buying a SWL Desktop Receiver" if for the same purpose and been a ham, I can use my ham radio transceiver"
Some receivers might have better filtering features if compared to ham radios but apart from that, anyone has a good answer for such question?
My best to all of you at HCDX
