[HCDX] portable sw receiver opinion

I agree with Guy that the 7030 meets John's specs best, but it is a higher price level. If available from Universal or other used SW radio sources, a Drake SW8 or Lowe HK150 would be my choices for portability and performance at a more reasonable cost. I personally love the Lowe as it is quite sensitive, has great sound, has great-working synch and is easy to carry. However, it has no S meter. I have not tried the Palstar.
