[HCDX] DX pedition logs

Spent the weekend at Parawa, about 60km south of Adelaide, South
Australia. 35 deg 33' 36.7 S, 138 deg 21' 28 E. This is a normally quiet
and elevated location though both nights at times we suffered a lot of
electrical noise from the top end of MW on up. Source unidentified :-(

ARMENIA 7430 BVBN 1810, Religious talks good level 7/6

CANADA 6110 NHK Sackville 0559* - weak in EE 7/6

FRENCH GUIANA 15590 NHK Montsinery 1016-1035+. EE pops, Letters section
and interview with Bob Nagle from USA. Very good 7/6

GERMANY 3995 R. Liberty via Biblis 1929. Ukrainian, IDs as R. Svoboda,
quite good. Still there as DW Wertacthal 2208 8/6 (Jary)

HUNGARY 3975 R. Bucharest 1927 - freqs in EE then IDs in diff langs 8/6

INDIA 4760 AIR Port Blair 1230 EE nx to 1235 then Hindi, some static
crashes 8/6 

KOREA 11810 RCI Kimje 2201, fair in FF w/splatter VOA-PHL 11805, very
poor by 2220 7/6

MOROCCO 7195 VOA Briech 0530. Good with EE nx 7/6

PHILIPPINES 11590 FEBC 2230 (pres) in CC over VoStrait heard as well,
strange freq choice for the two that close 7/6

RUSSIA 15580 FEBA Chita 0030 fair sig, very weak by 0050 8/6

UAE 9720 AWR Dhabbaya 0015, good in unknown lang, songs & talk.

UNITED KINGDOM 12025 HCJB Skelton. Good level in AA 2158-2220 7/6 

USA 5950 Radio Taipei Int'l via WYFR 0550. Fair, pops & CC talk 7/6
	6030 R. Marti 0555 - strongest on 49mb this time with ID 7/6
	7580 WHRA 0026, fair signal w/usual stuff. Very late to get US 41mb
here 8/6


MEDIUMWAVE

Unluckily ionospheric conditions weren't helping a great deal with
geomagnetic activity and so on.

CHINA 1215 CNR 1137 - good with CC talk over weak locals, but which
Chinese outlet is the question? 8/6
	1341 fair sig, some splatter ex 1332. Lively chat between man & woman
1905. Not sure which one as Foreign Service from Guangdong not listed at
this time 8/6

INDIA 1386 AIR Gwalior 1305 - Indian songs, up & down but fair 8/6

INDONESIA 909 RRI Sorong 0926-1000 splatter ex 891 powerful local, some
deep fades but freq mentions of Sorong with talk & songs 8/6 (Jary)

PHILIPPINES 846 DZRV 1044-1114 - taking turns with 2RN Canberra,
Christian songs and Radio Veritas Quezon City as well as call letters
heard, almost sounded Japanese or similar after 1103 but ID noted after
that so not sure 8/6

SAUDI ARABIA 1440 BSKSA 2131-2200, AA talks, mention Hamas at 2135. No
sign of it at 2100 check but weak though quite clear at 2100. Gone by
2220, local sunrise was 2150 8/6

THAILAND 1575 VOA 1116 - VOA News Now program as usual, good with some
QRM from Italian station in Sydney, into Burmese at 1130 8/6
