At 2:54 or 2:55 PM EDT while ending my english
homework, I was listening to the empty channel of 89.9 hopping that the Florida
e-skip opening will appear here as well, in the FM band, and suddenly got
3 seconds of rythmic Caribbean music with the stereo lighting was in and
off during these short 3 seconds, as if the signal was at the stereo threshold.
I know there is a Hip-hop station in Bahamas on this channel, but it may have
been a domestic as well. I don't know if there are any stations playing
Caribbean music on 89.9 in tropo-scatter range. Any suggestions ?
Could the e-skip have gone very briefly for 3
seconds in the FM band or was this a meteor scatter reception ?
