[HCDX] Loggings 25-26 Apr
At Trollhättan, Sweden AOR AR7040 40 m lw.From Johan Berglund.
5034.8 25-Apr 2210 Un-id asian, talk by woman, and four minutes that sounded like morning gymnastics
with no music, but female and male voice echoing each other. A couple of
very monotonous songs, from 22.30 slightly livlier. Could well be Hanoi with minority px.
4865 25-apr 2350 BOLIVIA. Radio Centenario, Sta. Cruz de la Sierra had moved up 10 kHz . Until 0000
a religious program in Spanish, and the organisation behind it gave a box number in
Quito, Ecuador, asking listeners to state on what station they had heard the program,
Brazilian stations under. At 0015 something happened, the station just disappeared.
4865 26-apr 0015 BRAZIL. With the bolivian station gone a nightmarish mix of two Brazilian stations, both
with religious px. At 0135 one of them got silent and Verdes Florestas, Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre
was heard with a canned id, and also giving 940 kHz. The other station was back at 0158.
4830 26-apr 0320 DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. It must have been Radio Barahona, but even with QSA 3 only
the name of the country was heard (three times) because of the terrible modulation. No matter
how I tried, that voice was completely blurred, otherwise it would have been a piece of cake.
4920 26-apr 0400 HONDURAS. La Voz Evangélica, Tegucigalpa, very good signal, little QRM. (Any non-
DX-er would have called this terrible reception, but after what I heard earlier this night, it was
like sweet music.)
