[HCDX] Tropical Bands are Alive!
At 0930Z onward (it is now 1000Z), conditions are very excellent on
frequencies between 3500 to 5000 -- I am hearing quite well
stations like Papua New Guinea (3925) at s9+30dB, and many other
stations with similar strengths (4120, 4820, 3945). What a
pleasurable transmission right now on 3925 - classical music. Very
light static crashes, some Amateur Radio signals nearby, but the
propagation is solid. SINPO is 55445.
Receiver: Icom IC-756Pro (no preamp on)
Antenna: Multiband Dipole (80 meter through 6 meter, amateur,
homemade) up 50 feet, N/S orientation.
