Today I met Swedish veteran DXer Rolf Fredriksson who started
DXing in 1942. He has a tape of R Yura (4716.8) as received May 8
at his QTH just next to the Arctic Circle. The signal level is quite good
so one
can easily transcribe most of what the DJ says.
There are references to "Radio Yura", "la radio Yura" and an
annc´t saying
"Seguimos con la buena música, música que caracteriza Radio Yura,
La Voz del Ayllu".
Three QSL´s from this station have been reported, one each from
Sweden,
Finland and Japan. Not one of the recipients has disclosed the v/s e-mail
address
so far. Why such hush-hush?
