The Mayak programme on 1566 Khz  with 10 KW is from a transmitter near the
city of Brest .
Belarussian transmitters are very often heard loud in the Benelux, like
Belarus Radio 1 on 279 Khz, in wintertime even all day long on my Blaupunkt
car radio , and 1566 Khz in the afternoon , stronger than Countysound!
