[HCDX]: VHF converter for DRAKE R8 ?

Hi,

can anybody tell me something about the VHF converter for DRAKE R8? Is it
good and sensitive enough, especially on frequencies between 35-55 MHz?
I think this converter could be useful now when this band is alive again.
In fact the converter should start on 30 MHz, but maybe it could be possible
to tune it down to at least 32 MHz?

Many thanks for your advice - maybe I am not the only one who is interested
in this solution.
