Nice story, this is just DX-ing as it best! At least here in Scandinavia no
one actually should complaint of bad antenna conditions and interference,
at least not during the summer time. You can always take your car, erect a
1000 meter beverage antenna to the area you want to hear and listen to
Africa on medium wave, the Caribbean, Brasil etc. Of couse in the beginning
of october it already starts to get cold, but some of the first nice
conditions towards USA and North America is on hand then also.
