I have never send a single report during my DX career since 1959 without 100%
identification.  I may have missed quite a few good opportunities without
sending tentative reports, but I have kept my principle and I will do so also in
the future.

In this case after listening the tape again I identified the station as WRNC,
but I dot have the address of this station and no information on the v/s. 
However, I cannot send a report as I have only 100% ID with full correct
announcement.  But it is not enough in addition just to explain that I was
hearing country music as I could not identify any single piece of music.

There is no way anyone can help you based on only the information that the
station played country music. Allthough in this case the station is probably
known it would be utterly wrong to send a report without further details and a
proper identification. As you heard them also at 0500 UTC you may have heard the
identification so check the recording.
