954kHz Puketapu Radio, Palmerston, East Otago, New Zealand. On-air date
April 3rd at 1800z (April 4th 6 a.m. NZT). Transmitter of 100 watts using 35
metre mast located just West of the township. Address: 114 Ronaldsay Street,
Palmerston, Ph: 03 465 1660. Technician: Lawrence McCraw, e-mail
lmccraw@xxxxxxxxxxxx Ph: 03 465 1909. Station is mostly voluntary
community-access similar to Radio Ranfurly. "Puketapu" is the name of the
high hill located NE of Palmerston, which dominates the area.
