signal here heard only in LSB mode since a carrier on 4845.20 is on the
upperside. Noted typical music during listening period as well as
Spanish comments from a man and a woman.  At 1055 a strong carrier comes

music initially. After the tune, a woman in Indonesian comments. She's

by long serious sounding talk in vernacular. At 2230 a tribal type of

Chinese // 9080; "guangbo diantai" ID at 2250, though I didn't catch the
full text. Choppy but fair at first, then deteriorated rapidly and was
almost unreadable by 2252. Unusual to hear a Chinese domestic outlet on
49M at this time of day, when the band is wall-to-wall monster signals

to 4960 and 4860, but I've never heard them here before; nothing on the
