There have been reports of someone with gospel on 1620 besides Radio
Esmeralda, during the past month. Here's a recent  item reported to DX
midAmerica. Too bad there's no time given in the report.

     KRB-IN heard something VERY STRONG on 1620 last night (01-29). Never
     heard id. Playing Christian Old Testament and "praise" music with
     preaching between songs. Who?

Possibly you heard a combination of programs from both stations.
