My longest wait for a QSL on an original report (no follow up) was 17
months for Radio Casino back, Costa Rica, about 1980. My longest for
a followup was 22 years for Radio Puerto La Cruz (3365 I think) in
Venezuela. When I went to Venezuela in December, 1994, I went through
my old logs and took along a number of reports to either mail or
deliver in person if I were going to visit the station. On the same
trip, I picked up in person QSLs for 20-22 year old reports on Radio
San Sebastian (6070) and Radio Trujillo (3295) by visiting the
stations. I probably have 15-20 QSLs that were issued ten or more
years after the reception. Some are for replies to mailed follow ups
and others QSLs that I picked up while visiting the stations.
