NA4N QSL  View Printable Version

QSL
QSL received from NA4N for 475 khz longwave WSPR reception from Amissville, Virginia using the new Zach Tek line of transmitters for WSPR. The Zach Tek line of transmitters is made in Sweden. NA4N just got on longwave with the 200 milliwatt model and is having good results. Maybe something to look into if you are contemplating the no license longwave experimenters band or one of the other US experimental bands. Bill Smith, Douglas, MA.

QSL from experimental radio CYA373  View Printable Version
Thursday, June 15 2023

QSL
QSL from CYA373 for a 40.680 mhz logging on Jan. 16, 2023. CYA373 is the Canadian experimental call of VA2CY one of a very few authorized on 40 mhz. Canada authorized even fewer than the USA. Located on Orleans Island in the St. Lawrence Seaway. Apparently, 40 mhz will not become an amateur band here. It never seemed to be promoted by the ARRL or mentioned in their publication. Best source of information for 40 mhz and a lot of other esoteric frequencies is the EI7GL Diary.
