[IRCA] August 2016 Michigan D-KAZ logs, including Nigeria!

New BCB logs heard in Western Michigan during the month of August.  All
dates/times UTC.  Receiver is a Perseus SDR & reversible North/South
oriented D-KAZ antenna.


630 WBMQ Savannah, GA. - 8/6/2016 0159 UTC - Weak during mild au cx with
calls at TOH, Cumulus mention and annc."Talk, that everyone's talking
about..." and into ID, South D-KAZ.  (TROMP-MI)


930 WLLL Lynchburg, VA. - 8/24/2016 0059 UTC - Poking up with song ending
(either urban oldies or black gospel format) and then with this
announcement in the clear: "We want to play your favorites, give us a call
at 434-385-4564" and then into W-L-L-L jingle, soon lost again, South
D-KAZ. (TROMP-MI)


1090 WHGG Kingsport, TN. - 8/22/2016 0138 UTC - Daytimer on late with
heavily distorted signal, strong and often over KAAY, South D-KAZ.

1280 WADO New York, NY. - 8/18/2016 0301 UTC - Good signal with Spanish
talk about local community calendar and English calls given at TOH, good at
times over usual dominant WNAM, North D-KAZ.  (TROMP-MI)


1630 WPAN997 Buffalo, NY. - 8/27/2016 0001 UTC - Poor but with a clear
mention of Buffalo and partial call for WQCT657 as part of a multi call
letter ID given by robo YL voice, North D-KAZ during KCJJ fade.  (TROMP-MI)


1660 WPZZ656 - 8/26/2016 2342 UTC - With numerous public service
announcements for Aurora and nearby areas with 630 area code phone numbers
given, and possible NOAA Weather Radio relay at times (unless NOAA was
someone else?), strong during brief signal peaks over the usual broadcast
stations, South D-KAZ.  (TROMP-MI)


Trans-Atlantic:


917 Radio Gotel Yola, Nigeria - 8/10/2016 0126 UTC - Very weak but
generally stable signal lasting for several minutes providing continuous
threshold audio with afropop music easily parallel to a remote Perseus SDR
in Spain which provided a strong copy on this station.  Heard on the North
D-KAZ - new country!  Not even the faintest trace of a carrier heard here
since this reception on subsequent checks.  (TROMP-MI)
