[IRCA] TP 14 Oct Victoria version

Quite a morning for carriers, and a real odd-ball, likely TAB-1539 with what sounded like horse racing

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

carriers I said, carriers

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man and woman in Japanese 1340UT
702 man in DU English, woman on phone, 1336UT; no ABC parallels, so no chance of ID
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1336UT
1539 TAB? man talking DU English, the cadence of horse race reporting, but deep erratic fades and peaks 1414UT, took to long to find the latest link to the webstream before it faded again.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIB English lessons 1412UT
891 5AN ABC news fanfare and "ABC news" by woman 1230UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

621 3RN //576 woman and man talking 1411UT, both very weak
1242 woman talking, Japanese inflection, 1410UT
1323 woman talking 1231UT, too much splash to guess language

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

738 855 864 882 909 963 972 1008 1098 1116 1179 1314 1386 1476 1503 1575 1593 1629(hum)

best wishes,

Nick
