[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 2-22

Low band Asians once again went on a rompÂthis morning, with even odd stations like 657-PyongyangÂjoining inÂthe party. Like the past two days a potent sunrise enhancement kick around 1435 raised stations like 558 (HLQH), 603 (HLSA) andÂ657 outÂof the noise to reach vibrant levels, while the high band generally was anemic at best. 
 
At my 1400 start time the back yard was frozenÂbut the low band DX was already heating up. 594-JOAK set the pace early on with Japanese conversation at a good level, while 693, 747, 774 and 828 weren't very far behind in strength. Around 1425 the low band Koreans came out of the noise to reach vibrant strength, with 558-HLQH (fair) and 603-HLSA (very good) sharing a KBS2 Korean radio drama, and 657-Pyongyang (very good during peaks) broadcasting a mix of dreary orchestral music and bizarre high-pitched female vocals. 603-HLSA hit peak strength around 1445, around which time 1134-KBS also startedÂrising above the Vancouver splatter with good-level Korean conversation. The high band received no such sunrise boost, although Bill's 1575-VOA hung around at an anemic level for most of the session as the best signal on a dreary high band. Overall theÂmorning was a lot of fun, and Bill certainlyÂshould have some nice recordings toÂenjoy after he finishes hisÂtrip toÂthe Blue Bouy.
