[IRCA] TP 27 Oct Victoria version

An interesting morning, firmly back in the Asiatic camp. 1230 to 1300UT were fairly lively on the low band, then some doldrums through to 1400UT, and a final dustup 1430 to past 1500UT

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

747 JOIB man in JJ 1501UT //774 which was still do reasonably well also
774 JOUB KK lessons 1405UT
828 JOBB EE lessons 1259UT
972 HLCA woman in KK 1503UT, best level of the morning that I heard.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1287 JOHR likely jazzy instrumental mx 1440UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 Russia 6 pips 1400UT, last one elongated, man then woman talking RR 1400-1UT. Who is this? PAL and Asiawaves say Russia is inactive, WRTH 2014 lists nothing.
738 Tahiti likely, woman in FF 1401UT
954 JOKR woman in JJ 1431UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK man JJ inflection //594 1414UT
594 JOAK, man JJ inflection 1412UT //567 to clinch it
711 KBS? woman talking 1403UT, man 1404-5UT, sounded KK, but too much 710 splat
873 JOGB woman talking //828 1402UT
945 CNR1?? man talking then woman, sounded CC 1434UT
1053 KK jammer ending at 1402UT
1134 two stations mixing, woman talking, also man 1438UT
1575 VoA??? man talking 1414UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

819 909 864 909 918 1008 1017 1098 1242

best wishes,

Nick
