Hi Bruce,

Welcome to another season of challenged-solar-condition TP-chasing!

Well, since Guy Atkins (4 miles away) and I have radically different TP-DXing results almost every time we check, this comment sounds pretty familiar. To be honest, though, you usually clean up on high band Japanese and other more exotic high band fare that I don't hear-- which tends to balance out the overall equation.

73, Gary

Gary and I were obviously DXing on different planets today, even though
our mailing addresses are only 30 miles apart. There was no generous
low-band enhancement around here, I'm sorry to say.

My morning was pretty much a repeat of yesterday. A handful of signals
were sort of OK, and a few others were barely producing audio. Once
again, there were lots of weak carriers up and down the dial.

Good - much of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly
972 HLCA, not as strong as yesterday, but reasonably OK 1326 with
woman in Korean, then slow vocal song
1566 HLAZ, had its ups and downs today, nicely up with JJ male 1303,
also good at other times

Fair - a few words could be understood by a native speaker
750 KFQD "103.7 FM, 750 AM, KFQD" ID & news u/KXTG 1307
774 JOUB, pips at 1300 were barely heard, but English lesson was sort
of OK by 1304
1575 VOA, woman in SEA language 1309

Poor - I could sort of tell what was going on
594 JOAK, male talk & time pips 1300
693 JOAB, very weak pips in CBU splatter 1300
747 JOIB, time pips & bits of talk 1300
864 very faint female talk 1301
981 bits of talk in CKNW splatter 1315, presumably CNR1
1287 bits of male talk 1331
1593 fair carrier, traces of talk in the Freedom-1590 splatter 1310

Carriers, mostly a few db above the noise - 567 576 603 657 756 819 828
837 846 891 909 927 936 945 963 1008 1017 1053 1098 1043 1179 1188 1197
1206 1269 1278 1314 1323 1332 1386 1422 1458 14671557 1602
