Much appreciated posting, Allen.   The PEI expedition might want to 
reference it.    Me, I just like the idea that Newfoundland has 
beaches.  I tend to think of rocks...   Your ocean water may well be 
more swimmable than the Pacific upwelling that we get in western 
Canada.anywhere near the Pacific.
