[IRCA] TP 11 Jan, 2013 / Victoria version

A bit late; today's been all over the place, and so was the DX this morning, with a peak 1540 to 1550UT, but as Dennis noted, some things stayed in late, weak audio on 972, 1287 and 1566 until nearly 1700UT here.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

594 JOAK light koto style mx 1523UT
774 JOUB man in JJ 1521UT
972 HLCA woman and man in KK 1545UT

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

828 JOBB man in JJ at 1501UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

279 R. Rossii light mx 1358UT
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1611UT, not particularly strong earlier

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

567 JOIK light mx //594 1454UT
747 JOIB man talking //774 1455UT
891 JOHK koto mx //594 at 1523UT
945 man and woman talking 1546UT, didn't seem // 6125 and no NHK1 // available
954 man and woman talking 1605UT, JJ cadence so JOKR?
1017 CRI? man talking at 1457UT; not //774, but no CRI //s available, and faded by hour
1098 simple ditty being sung by man and woman 1542UT; Taiwan?
1116 woman talking at 1535UT and 1541UT; DU EE cadence, if so, 4BC?
1287 man and woman talking, JJ cadence 1518UT; JOHR likely
1323 CRI, woman and man talking //7325 1549UT
1422 JORF? man talking 1605; JJ cadence?
1476 light instrumental mx 1525UT
1575 ? man talking 1540UT

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

648 855 864 1008 1206 1242

best wishes,

Nick
