Listened from 1155-1403 utc.  4 Russian long waves were back after the recent long wave blackout. MW mainly Japanese and Republic of Korea stations. Tahiti was the only DU station heard this morning, but I bailed out early.  

153   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1155-1157 good signal with talk and woman singing. NW-ewe. 10/21/2012

180   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1158 good signal with two Radio Rossii IDs. 1159 3 Radio Rossii IDs. 1200 5 pips and ID NW ewe. 10/21/2012

189   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1202 fair signal with man in Russian. NW-ewe. 10/21/2012.

209   ALASKA, Yakataga, CYT 1204 fair signal with weather forecast for Alaska coast. NW-ewe. 10/21/2012

279   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1206 good signal with man/woman in Russian. HPAW. 10/21/2012

567   JAPAN, JOIK NHK1 1321 poor signal with some audio getting through. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

594   JAPAN, JOAK NHK2 1217 fair signal with man in Japanese. Good at 1345 with Party chat. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

702   JAPAN, JOFB or JOKD? NHK2 1313-316 poor signal with a little audio getting through. Program seemed // JOBB 828. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

729   HET Level 4 1218 heavy splatter from CHMJ. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012


738   TAHITI, Radio Polynesie, 1208 weak signal with man in French. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

747   JAPAN, JOIB NHK2 1351 fair signal with man/woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

774   JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1209 fair signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

828   JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1210 good signal with very little splatter. Man in Japanese. 1221 still good, heard on all four antennas. Best on W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

846   HET level 5 1211 moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

873   JAPAN, JOGB NHK2 1224 very weak signal and // JOBB 828. Man in Japanese. Heard 13 times this season. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

972   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLCA poor signal at 1228 with bit of audio from woman speaker. 1354 weak signal with singing. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

1053  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1211 jammer with fair signal at times. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

1071  HET level 5 1230.W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

1179  UNKNOWN, 1213 poor signal with woman talking in unknown language. Seemed Asian. W-SW ewe. 10/21/2012

1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1233 good signal with woman preaching accompanied with organ music. Talk in Japanese. NW-ewe. 10/21/2012
