No Russian long waves this morning. First MW station was JOBB 828, followed by Australian and Tahiti until JOAB was heard at 1348. Luckily most ABC stations were playing "Saturday Night Country" with Felicity Urquhart. Very good Aussie signals this morning. 792 produced a unknown signal which was not 2RN. Medication type music from 1428-1439 utc. No audio above 828 kHz after many scans of the upper channels.  

567    NEW ZEALAND? 1359-1406 poor signal with bits of audio, just not enough to match RNZ national life stream. Palstar MW550P helped increase signal a bit. W-SW-ewe. 10/13/2012

594    UNKNOWN 1344-1346 music and moderate splatter. Very weak signal. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012

693    JAPAN, JOAB NHK2 1348 fair signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012.

702    AUSTRALIA, 2BL ABC 1303-1313 fair signal over splatter with woman reading news. Program "Saturday Night Country" with Felicity Urquhart. Matched live stream. 

738    TAHITI, Radio Polynesie 1246-1251 very weak to weak with woman talking and music. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012

738    AUSTRALIA, 2NR ABC 1317-1319 very weak to fair at times signal. Program "Saturday Night Country". Man singing country music. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012

774    AUSTRALIA, 3LO ABC 1331-1335 weak to fair with no sign of JOUB. Program "Saturday Night Country". Much longer live stream delay than stations above. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012

792    AUSTRALIA, 2RN ABC National 1322-1355 believed to be the station with very weak signal playing music. 

792    UNKNOWN, 1428-1439 very slow instrumental music, very weak signal. 1434 Music did not match 2RN live stream which was talk. New Zealand listed as Sports talk. Music sounds like medication music. Faded out at 1438. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012

828    JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1253-1255 very weak signal with woman in Japaneses. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012


828    AUSTRALIA, 3GI ABC 1338-1340 fair at times with "Saturday Night Country". No JOBB. Still around at 1419 with country music. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012 W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012

1098   MARSHALL ISLANDS? 1354 beautiful carrier with no audio. W-SW ewe. 10/13/2012
