[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Saturday, September 1, 2012

The Russian long waves had much weaker signal strengths than previous days and increased static too. China CNR1 1593 in with fair signal.
Tahiti the only DU heard this morning. Gave up listening at 1325 as TP's were dropping and DU's hets were very poor. Listened from 1125-1325 utc.   

153     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1125-1130 fair signal with static crashes. Woman in Russian.

180     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1159-1200 weak signal and ID at 1159 followed by 6 pips at 1200 with another ID.

189     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1131 weak signal with woman in Russian. Fair signal at 1201.

234     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1204 poor signal. Weak signal at 1251. 

279     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1202 threshold audio. Poor signal at 1237. Strong carrier low audio at 1252 with Russian military music.

594     JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1210-1213 weak signal with man in Japanese and some splatter.

738     TAHITI, Radio Polynesie 1238 fair signal with splatter from KCBS. Man in French with background music.

774     JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1153 fair signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 1239 good signal in Japanese.

828     JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1151 fair signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe.

972     REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLCA 1234 very weak signal with woman in Korean. A lot of KUFO splatter.

1008    UNKNOWN, 1245 level 5 het, stronger than usual het. Why no audio?

1053    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1247 jammer is with fair signal a top of channel. All alone on channel 1322 with fair signal. 

1566    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1249 latter than usual with audio this morning. Weak signal with man in Japanese. 

1575    THAILAND, VOA 1316 in late with weak signal and man in Asian language. 

1584    UNKNOWN, 1310-1313 weak signal with woman in Asian language. Not // to NHK2 JOUB 774. Moderate splatter on NW ewe.

1593    CHINA, CNR1 1307 fair at times with KOHI splatter, // 6030 with woman in Chinese.
