Re: [IRCA] Chicago off-air update and morning conditions at Burnt River ON

I suspect ur 940 to west is WFAW which carries America in the Morning at that time. 73 KAZ

>Pual's post below suggests to me that the sign-offs will be either this Saturday morning, or next Saturday morning. However, because I am up here at my Burnt River ON DX post, I will check this coming morning - Friday - as well. I think it may also be prudent to also keep an eye on 1000. That's my unsolicited advice to all, particularly those with Perseus or other means to record unattended. Conditions ramped up nicely this morning. I took advice from a DX chat group participant and checked just before sunrise. Had a pipeline to the west with KGOW TX alone on 1560, KCTA TX alone on 1030, an unID with "America's Morning News" alone on 940 (no idea who that would be on west wire at 0634 EST), and tons from MN ND WI including three new catches - 1260 KROX MN, 1570 Minocqua WI, and 1410 Roseau MN (this one at 1000 watts after itsm local sunrise). And I have no idea who to the west carries Joyce Meyer at 0646 EST. This morning was also doubly weird. CX dove before 7 am, band wa!

> DEAD a few minutes after the sun rose here, and by 8 am it was humming with that huge aforementioned pipeline to MN ND and WI, lasting well past 9am. True greyline! Glad I decided not to quit, as two of my three new catches came in this second round... Re Chicago - Keep in mind that there are two 780s in Maine that would be running day power shortly before WBBM's scheduled return. See Paul's e-mail below for Chicago update... Saul
