At all five stations where I worked in the 70s and 80s, the owner was right down the hall in his office.  Them days are gone.

A perfect example why Ive never, in my 7 years of radio, worked for a
orporately owned station and if I can help it, never will.
With 1 exception, I've worked for stations that were LOCALLY owned...
