The 3 Russia long waves stations heard this morning had signals ranging for
good to excellent, the best signals of the season.  New station heard this morning
JOPJ 585 // 594.  Strange that seldom heard JOQG 531 and JOPJ were heard and 
nothing from JOCR 558 and JOIK 567 that are heard often. JOUB 774 at S-9+35
db with Palstar amp off.   Japanese powerhouse stations faded just after 1500 utc.
 
153      RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1346-1350 good with 40's swing music.
189      RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1350 excellent with man in Russian.
279      RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1351 S-9+30 db signal with American Pop song.
531      JAPAN, JOQG NHK1 1422-1424 weak signal in Japanese // 594.
585      JAPAN, JOPJ NHK1 1425-1430 fair to good signal with man in Japanese.
594      JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1352 fair signal with splatter and man in Japanese.
            Good signal at 1421.
639      CHINA, 1418-1419 very weak signal with talk.  1420 fair signal with music.
693      JAPAN, JOAB NHK2 1416 fair signal with splatter. 
702      JAPAN, JOKD NHK2 1359-1401 four pips TOH and woman in Japanese.
774      JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1403 S-9+35 db signal with English Conversation 
           program.
828      JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1404 fair with above program.
1134    JAPAN, JOQR 1413-1414 assuming the station with music and fair signal 
            for a few seconds, then faded into the domestic splatter.
1206    CHINA, 1411 believed to be the station with weak signal with woman talking.
           Faded soon.  
1566    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1405 weak with Chinese.  Fair signal 1434.
1575    THAILAND, VOA 1433 weak to fair signal with woman in Asian language.
