[IRCA] TP's for Friday 09/16/11

One Russian long-wave heard this morning.  Strongest Asian MW station as VOA 1575.
Two DU stations.  5AN is the most often heard DU station at this location.  

153        Russia, Radio Rossii 1242 fair signal with jazz music.

657        New Zealand, Southern Star 1339 fair signal with Instrumental music"Stand by Me"
             along with  splatter. 
675        Vietnam?  1327 weak briefly in Asian language.  By the time I found //
              frequency (5975) they had faded out.
774        Japan, JOUB 1333 very weak with Japanese.
891        Australia, 5AN 1347 fair with man giving stock prices.  1353 with fair signal, soon
              faded out.
1575      Thailand, VOA  1313 fair with woman in Vietnamese.
