[IRCA] X band in Australia

Answers.com site link covering radio stations includes a link to List of Radio Stations in Australia. Some AM stations in the largest cities in Oz are using freqs above 1602 like the X band here and there are quite a few stations on the air on freqs between 1602 and 1701 khz.There was no info on power output.I wonder if anyone here has heard any on this side of the big ocean.
