[IRCA] MFJ1025

Hi all - I dug my old MFJ1025 out of the shed and realized that it has a huge roll-off at about 2Mhz. I have seen some plans online for mods to the unit to allow it to be used on MW, and am wondering if anyone out there has had any luck making these mods. I was playing around with it and managed to almost zero out local CKWX 1130, I gather since it's groundwave and local, and I'm thinking that if I could get this to work all over the band that I could probably get rid of a whack o' power line and plasma tv noise.

Any thoughts?
