[IRCA] Brier, WA TP's for 10/8/2010



Another so-so morning, perhaps a touch improved from yesterday. Alot of good hets, some on unusual freqs, just at threshold trying to break into audio. Following times sampled this morning: 1300Z, 1346Z, 1400Z, 1410Z using Perseus. The following heard in audio:

558  HLQH Daegu presumed (S. Korea) too weak for checking // 603
585  JOPG Kushiro presumed (Japan) just above audio threshold 1410Z
594  JOAK NHK1 Tokyo (Japan) poorest showing in two weeks
603  HLSA presumed (S. Korea) weak
612  UNID  1358Z barely in audio and not for long
648  VOR (Russia)  music at 1346Z
666  JOBK NHK1 Osaka presumed (Japan) poor
670  KDLG Dillingham AK excellent again and all alone this time. Legal ID at 1400Z
675  UNID probably VOV (Vietnam) just bits of talk and music 1358Z
693  JOAB NHK2 Tokyo (Japan) Good with EE lesson 1358Z strongest NHK2
738  BEL2 presumed (Taiwan) 1346Z
747  JOUB  NHK2 Sapporo (Japan) good, second only to 693 among the NHK2's
750  KFQD Anchorage AK presumed under KXL, wiped out at 1400Z ID time
774  JOIB Akita NHK2 (Japan) Good
828  JOBB NHK2 Osaka (Japan) good at 1346Z with EE lesson
891  JOHK Sendai presumed (Japan) huge het, weak audio
909  UNID  Didn't match up to // NHK2
972  HLCA Dangjin (S. Korea) 1346Z fair to good
1053 S. Korean "bubble jammer" well heard at 1410Z
